It wasn’t until 2010 that I realized I might be a prose writer—or rather that I might also be a prose writer. I began as a poet, so when I felt myself shifting toward narrative a few years ago, I knew the the discipline of poetry would still find its way into my work.
Poetry taught me to make music as much as meaning, taught me the subtle rhythms of language and the power of timing. I imagine I'll always have the heart of a poet, though (for the moment) I'm feeling my truest voice in prose.
Below are my two volumes of poetry, available for sale, as well as links to selected poems available online.
